I discovered something vital. If you look for darkness and lies, you’ll find it. Darkness is everywhere, in every institution and organization.
The quest for darkness isn’t all bad. There is value in its exploration. Awareness is good.
But there is a catch.
Darkness is the lowest wrung on the ladder. It’s cheap and easy.
What do they say? You are what you eat?
If you look for light and love in everything,
You’ll also find it.
Light and love is in every institution and organization.
Sometimes this isn’t as simple.
Finding light and love requires a bit more work. You’ve got to get a few more rungs up the ladder to find it.
But there is still a catch.
The quest to only see light and love requires the denial of darkness.
This is cognitive dissonance, otherwise known as denial.
What’s of higher value yet is the realization that light and darkness are one.
Now this is getting into some difficult territory.
To take your reality to a place where you are valuing and validating both the light and the dark requires a clear understanding of oneness.
Without heads, there is no tails
Without happy, there is no sad.
Without light, there is no dark.
What’s the point?
This is holism,
Pieces which represent a whole.
Ideas that are meaningless without their counterpart.
The final step is seeing the light in the dark.
Seeing the harmony in the horror.
Oneness…
It’s within this space ~
I take into my being those that are suffering.
I take into my being the children who suffer the toils of wicked wars.
I take into my being the animals who suffer so greatly for our food and pleasure.
I take into my being those that suffer at the hands of malevolent men.
I take you all into my being.
I hold you in my broken and heavy heart.
“The wound is the place where the light enters you.”
